after being officially ordained last sunday, i got to perform my first full wedding ceremony saturday afternoon. it was for a great young couple from church and it was a great day! of course there were things that didn’t go so well. there was some family bickering, since of course everyone knows what works best and the bride and groom were stressed out. the cake was late, like 3/4 through the service late, but you know what, at the end of the day, they were married.
i think they really liked their vows and enjoyed the ceremony. i appreciate them asking me to perform their ceremony and it was pretty laid back, which was good for my first full ceremony. all-in-all i think it went very well.
